I’VE BEEN RECRUITED FOR THE CANADA FOOD STUDY – WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?

We would like you to complete two surveys: the first survey takes an hour and the second one takes a half hour. You should receive an email with the link to the first survey. If the email didn’t arrive or your having trouble accessing the survey, please email us and we’ll sort it out. The email will come from SurveyGizmo, so you might want to check your ‘junk mail’ folder first.

After you finish the first survey, you will receive another email in the next 4 to 10 days when it is time to complete the second survey. If you haven’t received it after 10 days, feel free to email us.

I AM LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THE CFS SMARTPHONE STUDY

Some participants will also be invited to help with a CFS Smartphone Study, depending on where they live. If you have been invited to complete the study, and are having problems downloading the app or have questions about what you are supposed to do, click here.

Sorry, but only those who were recruited directly by our staff can complete the survey. The survey link will not work if you send it to others to complete.

Participants will be paid after they complete the second survey. We will send you an Interac® e-transfer by email within 4 business days. If you haven’t received an Interac® e-transfer before, it’s pretty easy: just click on the link in the email to accept the payment using your online or mobile banking service. You don’t have to share your banking details with anyone.

If you finished the second survey more than 4 business days ago and haven’t received your e-transfer, please email us.

There is no fee to receive Interac® e-transfers at most major banks, including (but not limited to) the following institutions:

BMO Bank of Montreal
CIBC
Desjardins
HSBC Bank Canada
Manulife Bank
National Bank
President’s Choice Financial
RBC Royal Bank
Scotiabank
TD Canada Trust

If you use a different bank, you can check with them to see if any fees are charged to accept e-transfers. For more information about Interac® e-transfers, including a full list of participating financial institutions, visit www.interac.ca/etransfer.
